Analysis of Agrochemical Residues will be one of the services offered at Semler Research Center. Initially our focus will be on determining physicochemical properties of agrochemicals which will give us a lot of information regarding the behaviour of agrochemicals in the environment and thus help in determining whether a pesticide is safe to be used. All studies conducted will be in compliance with OECD or EPA GLP regulations. Hydrolysis as a function of pH, water solubility, solubility in organic solvents, vapor pressure, 5-batch analysis, partition coefficient, etc. are some examples of key parameters which will be provided as a service by us.
In addition to the parameters for safety evaluation, shelf-life determinations, and other physicochemical parameters that determine the efficacy of the product are also required to be developed for regulatory submissions. Our services will also be extended to include validation of analytical methods for analysis of active ingredient in Technical materials, formulated products and residues in water, soil and food commodities. |
